24st Annual Wedgewood Golf Classic

All,
 
	What a weekend, could be the hottest Wedgewood in history. Here are some 
	of the amazing numbers!  The heat took it's toll on some as 17 and 18 saw
	some high scores. On the par 3 17th (180 yards over water, with wind in
	our faces so it played like 200 yards) saw four "Eights and a Seven".
	The 18th saw a Ten, two eights and a seven....but yet we still had a 
	record 67% of the field break 100!!! 

	Rob Power was the big winner, taking home low gross, low net, 4th in 
	Putts, and second in team!!! (and the first to bed ... to much celebrating??)
	It took the players a while to figure out the fast greens, with an incredible
	four 4 putts in first 4 holes! There were 58 holes with 3 or more putts,
	that's 27% of total holes with at least three putts!!! Ray finally figured
	out the greens on the 18th where he had his only 1 putt, after three or
	four putting 11 of 17 holes! 

	Players were feasting on short par 5's. Greg E and Rob P each had 3 birdies,
	with a total of 13 Birdies in the field!! (Greg E 3, Rob P 3, Shane J 2,
	Jeff P 1, Peter H 1, Mark H 1, Ian L 1, Jay H 1) 

	Thanks to all for Prizes and a great weekend. Special Thanks to Rob for 
	booking a great hotel, it really felt like a Spring Break in Florida!!!!
	The Patio scene is alive and well in Fredericton.
